Now with over 3000 instruments under their belt, Waterloo continues to churn out incredible, light-weight guitars inspired by the depression-era catalog instruments of the ’20s and ’30s. We have yet to hear a Waterloo that we didn’t love! Their raw, funky sound can be just the ticket, especially when you have ears as spoiled as ours by the best of the best flat-tops being made.
For their first all-mahogany model, Waterloo chose the WL-12, an L-00 shaped box, X-braced with a short 24.9″ scale and 12-fret body joint. This instrument comes with the new modified low oval neck with adjustable truss rod, a 1 3/4″ nut and 2 3/8″ string spacing at the saddle. Bare-bones cosmetics include ivoroid body and soundhole binding and a stenciled Waterloo logo on the peghead.
Sounds woody and wonderful, exactly what we expect.
