Troublesome Creek D-1, Adirondack Spruce, Quilted Cherry - NEW

(NEW) Our friends at Troublesome Creek have done it again!  We love not only their mission (not for profit, training people who are in recovery to be skilled luthiers) but the fact that they focus on domestic woods for their instruments.  We've had their slope D models before, and they distinguished themselves with a shallow body, 13-fret approach.  This one is more traditional overall (tonewoods aside) with a 14-fret neck joint and normal jumbo body depth.  The similarity to a Gibson pretty much ends there, though!

Adirondack spruce top and braces, quilted cherry back/sides.  What does cherry even sound like?  We hear it as landing between the dry, woody quality of mahogany and the chime of maple.  It makes a great sounding guitar, and we're surprised it's not more popular.  Long 25 1/2" scale seems to be contributing to the volume.  1 23/32" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  The cherry neck has a comfortable low oval profile.  Nickel Waverly tuners.

One of the coolest TC guitars yet!  Includes hard case.  Short sound sample here!
