(NEW) After much anticipation, we are finally receiving our first Touchstone guitars, a collaboration between Bourgeois Guitars in Lewiston, ME and Eastman Guitars in Beijing, China. These instruments were designed by Dana Bourgeois to bring his legendary top voicing techniques to a wider audience, and we think they are going to be a big hit!
The D Vintage/TS has a Sitka spruce top with forward-shifted, scalloped Adirondack bracing. The top was voiced in the Lewiston workshop before being shipped to Beijing for assembly and finish. The back and sides are tried and true east Indian rosewood. Like all Bourgeois guitars, the neck joint is a glue-free, bolt-on system. 1 23/32" nut width, 2.2" string spacing at the saddle, long 25 1/2" scale length. The visuals are quite traditional, with a 3-ring rosette, herringbone top trim, ivoroid binding and zipper back strip.
The neck has a smooth satin finish and a modified "V" carve. The tuners are Grand Tune by Schaller. Includes high quality hard case.
