(NEW) Bourgeois has brought their venerable Country Boy mahogany dreadnoughts to the Touchstone lineup! Mahogany continues to be a favorite for country and bluegrass pickers for its clarity and ability to cut through a jam. Through a partnership with the Eastman factory in Beijing, Dana Bourgeois has brought a boutique-level guitar in line with the budget of working musicians.
Sitka spruce top and braces, voiced by the Bourgeois team in Lewiston, Maine. Honduran mahogany back and sides. Long 25 1/2" scale with 1 23/32" nut width and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle. Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins. Neck is a comfortable mod V shape with smooth satin finish (the rest of the guitar is gloss). The tuners are Grand Tune machines from Schaller, one of our favorites. Includes quality hard case.
