Pisgah Appalachian 12" Open Back Banjo, Cherry, Short Scale - NEW

(NEW) We love that Pisgah concentrates on domestic hardwoods for their instruments, and this Appalachian is a great example of how clucky and plucky an open-back banjo can be!  It has a 12" cherry rim, with a walnut cap, cherry neck with traditional heel and a persimmon fingerboard with very light figure.  The Appalachian has a rolled brass tone ring, balancing the deeper 12" sound with a good amount of volume and projection.  

We had this one built as a short 25 1/2" scale.  It has a nut that measures 1 9/32", and the tuners and hardware are antiqued brass.  Price includes Pisgah branded soft case.
