OME Alpha 12" Open Back Banjo, Walnut - NEW

(NEW) Gold Tone is bringing the OME brand right into the here and now with their new Alpha series.  These are player-oriented, intermediate-priced open back banjos with a whole lot to love.  A lightweight 12" walnut rim, mahogany neck, scooped ebony fingerboard and aged brass hardware mean that this banjo presents as something somewhat more expensive.

The great part, though, is that it has a welcoming, plucky tone.  1 5/16" bone nut, short 25 1/2" scale length, aged brass planetary tuners with amber knobs, mahogany arm rest, factory installed spikes at 7 and 9.  This one has a Fiberskyn head.

Just a lot of banjo for the money.  Includes gig bag.
