(NEW) The mighty Big Mon from Northfield is one of our most popular mandolin models over the last few years, and the wide nut version in particular really seems to speak to players who moonlight on multiple instruments.  The Big Mon is ever-so much bigger than a standard F Model, and almost to a player people seem to hear the difference.  

This one has an Italian spruce top, flamed maple back/sides/neck, and a dark sunburst finish in high gloss.  It's fully bound in ivoroid and has a bound black plastic pickup.  Compound radius ebony fingerboard with wider 1 3/16" nut.  Gilchrist/Northfield tailpiece is one of the best around, it's a breeze to change strings.  Includes Airloom Recurve hard case.
