(NEW) Ooooh lordy!  This new Big Mon has staked its claim as one of the top mandolins in the store, we knew it from first strum.  Not only does it have knock-out good looks, it has a satisfying low end rumble and rich, musical highs.  It does it all!  

Adirondack spruce top, one-piece maple back w/ maple sides.  The Big Mon, as you probably know, is slightly larger than a typical F model, and resonates at a slightly lower frequency.  It is renowned/beloved for its gutsy sound.  We spec'd this one with the wider 1 3/16" nut.  

Standard: compound radius ebony fingerboard, Gotoh tuners, nickel-plated engraved Gilchrist/Northfield tailpiece, hybrid varnish finish.  This one is gloss black on the top.  Includes Airloom recurve hard case and hours upon hours of enjoyment!!!
