(NEW) The mandolin world can't get enough of the Northfield Big Mon, and here we have one of our "F Extra" models in classic Adirondack spruce and flamed maple.  As you probably know by now, the Big Mon takes standard F model proportions and upscales them slightly, so the mandolin resonates at a slightly lower frequency, has increased volume and low end kick.  

Special Adirondack spruce top with a lovely tobacco sunburst, flamed maple back/sides/neck.  Fully bound in ivoroid with bound black plastic pickguard.  Gilchrist tailpiece with built in felt mute makes string changes easy-breezy!  Compound radius ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, standard 1 1/8" nut width.  Includes Airloom case.  

The fuss is warranted on the Big Mon!  A shop favorite, a best seller.
