Kevin Kopp 20th Anniversary NL Nick Lucas Model, Adirondack Spruce, Birdseye Maple, Moon Burst - NEW

(NEW) To celebrate 20 years of guitar making from one of our absolute favorite luthiers, we decided to ask Kevin Kopp to make us some very special guitars, stuff that nobody else would have.  He has been CRUSHING that particular assignment, and we have another excellent example here with a never-been-done NL model!

The NL model is Kopp's interpretation of the deep body Nick Lucas L-00 variant first introduced by Gibson.  We tend to have these built in the "sweet spot" with a 13-fret neck to body joint.  This one has jet black finish on an Adirondack spruce top, Moon Burst finish on birdseye maple back/sides.  It has an ebony fingerboard with engraved NL pattern inlays, fire stripe pick guard, fleur de lis headstock flourish and ivoroid body, sound hole and neck binding.  1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" saddle, short 24 3/4" scale.  Nickel Waverly tuners. 

The finish on this one stops short of Kevin's full "Closet Relic" treatment, it is gloss but with some very subtle finish checking to relieve the surface tension on the top for better vibration.  Includes hard case.
