Garnet Ash is the duo project of vocalist Ashley Lynn and multi-instrumentalist Daryl Shawn. Together they create a sound rooted in classic pop, folk and jazz, with a unique blend showcased in their deep catalog of original music as well as choice covers. They are currently performing locally in Pittsburgh and working on their first album of original material.
Vince Rause grew up listening to the great singer-songwriters of his generation—Cat Stevens, Neil Young, James Taylor, John Prine, Kris Kristofferson and Joni Mitchell to mention just a few. His first album, “Old Guitar” acknowledges their influence on his own songwriting and reflects his love of all good folk, folk-rock, blues, old-time country, alt-country and country blues.
A proud Pittsburgh resident, he has performed across Western Pennsylvania, and in Mississippi, where he is a member of the Mississippi Songwriters Alliance, and a regular at the state-wide Mississippi Songwriter festival in Ocean Springs, MS, on the state's Gulf Coast.
