In-Store Concert, May 1st - Benefit For Georgia Paraskos Banjo Camp Fund - 1 TICKET

Friday, May 1st - Let's send the talented Georgia to BANJO CAMP!

Georgia Paraskos is a versatile string-musician, proficient in half a dozen instruments (and counting).  While pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, she actively contributes to the campus’ music through the Symphony Orchestra and Bluegrass Ensemble. When home in New Jersey, she collaborates with fellow musicians in her band, Bugs and Society, writing and performing original material.

Much to her surprise, Georgia has been accepted into Bela Fleck’s Blue Ridge Banjo Camp located in Brevard, North Carolina. She first discovered Fleck through his song “Big Country” and quickly became obsessed with his mastery at melodic playing and genre bending. Attending the camp offers her a unique opportunity to deepen those skills and learn directly within a community shaped by one of her biggest inspirations.

Georgia will be joined by Bryce Rabideau on guitar, Sarah Laus on spoons and banjo, Andrew McLaughlin on fiddle, Ayush Sridhar on bass, and Phil Thompson on mandolin.

ALL TICKET SALES WILL GO DIRECTLY TO GEORGIA'S CAMP TUITION!!!
