Sunday April 19th - We're happy to welcome back country blues legend in his own time, Todd Albright!

Todd Albright is a country blues, twelve-string guitar player and vocalist based in Detroit, Michigan. Grounded in the pre-war era of the blues tradition (1880-1939), Todd is a mindful purveyor of blues history. His repertoire upholds musical pillars such as Blind Willie McTell, George Carter, Blind Lemon Jefferson and Leadbelly. His life’s work continues the distinguished tradition of the very roots of American music as told by the African American musicians who created it. Todd joined Jack White’s Third Man Records in 2016.

Arthur Terembula is a touring artist and passionate student of the country blues and ragtime guitar. A translator of the sounds of the 1920’s & 1930’s blues. He reimagines the music from those times, rewriting and interpreting the songs of Mississippi John Hurt, Robert Johnson, Elizabeth Cotten, Blind Blake, Rev. Gary Davis, and other various country blues figures. You can find Arthur with his ear close to a speaker and guitar in hand, humming and whittling away at the fretboard.  Arthur is also an active board-certified Music Therapist, MT-BC that specializes in providing care in pediatric palliative care and hospice. 

Jagtime Millionaire is a fingerpicking guitarist based in Pittsburgh, PA who presents a variety of 19th and early 20th century piano ragtime on the steel-string acoustic guitar.  While heavy on classic rags from Scott Joplin, he also plays novelty instrumentals and original songs.  JM's playing isn't a nostalgia trip in the least; he filters ragtime through a modern lens, adding rhythmic interest and humor to these timeless compositions. 

The show - seating is extremely limited, we expect this one to sell out!  We are offering pre-sale on 65 tickets and then will revert to standing room only on the day of the show.  Doors at 7pm, music starting around 8pm.  $20 guarantees a seat, though not any seat in particular!  First come, first pick.  This show will be BYOB.  Please call us at the shop with any questions!
