Huss & Dalton TD-R Custom, Thermo-Cured Sitka Spruce, Indian Rosewood, Sunburst - NEW

(NEW) They are still making a mighty fine dreadnought down there in Staunton, VA!  Brian Dickel is now securely behind the wheel at Huss & Dalton, and we must say that the company hasn't missed a beat.  This TD-R has a thermo-cured (torrefied) Sitka spruce top, for a warm, broken in sound.  The top has small hints of bear claw figuring.  It has Indian rosewood back and sides, and is on the light side for a rosewood dread.  Appointments include a nice dark sunburst finish, herringbone top border, zipper back strip and ivoroid body binding.  

Long 25.4" scale with 1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" spacing at the cut-through saddle, ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins.  The mahogany neck has a mod V profile, satin finish and a diamond volute.  Tuners are nickel Waverly.  

Includes tweed style hard case.
