(NEW) Huss & Dalton make great instruments of all shapes and sizes, but they tend to really hit home runs with small-bodied guitars, dependably nailing the elusive "sounds bigger than it looks" goal. The T-0014 really cooks, fitting the tone and versatility of an OM into a slightly smaller package.
We ordered this instrument to excel at volume, responsiveness, overtones and sustain. Sinker redwood has a pleasing complexity, and when paired with Cocobolo, the tone really leaps out of the guitar. It doesn't take much energy to get the top moving, and while it absolutely crushes fingerstyle, it is by no means afraid of a flat pick or confident strumming. Like an OM, it is comfortable in a variety of styles.
1 23/32" nut with 2 1/4" saddle spacing, short scale with satin finish on a modified "V" neck profile. The appointments are understates, simple black/white/black purfling and rosette accents, stealthy tortoise bindings, abalone dot inlays. The tuners are Waverly "Special Issue" vintage oval. Includes tweed-style TKL hard case.
One of the most potent small guitars in the shop right now!
