Huss & Dalton T-0014 Custom, Italian Spruce, Claro Walnut - NEW

(NEW) One of the models that consistently punches above its weight is the 14-fret 00, or the T-0014 as Huss & Dalton calls it.  These always deliver big sound in a small package, a joy to play and to hear.  This guitar has all that going on, with a presentation that will please fans of clean aesthetics as well as fans of fine tone woods. 

Tight-grained Italian spruce top with wisps of bear claw figuring, Claro walnut back and sides with walnut rosette and peghead overlay.  Still an unsung tone wood, walnut has a very similar tone to mahogany and usually ups the ante on sustain.  It looks great but also makes for a light build, 3 lbs 9 oz in this case.  

Short 24.9" scale with 1 3/4"  nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  The satin neck is a gentle mod V shape, measuring .868" at the first fret and .964" at the ninth.  Ebony fingerboard with simple dot inlays, ebony bridge and pins.  The tuners are H&D-engraved nickel Gotohs with ivoroid buttons to match the body binding.  Includes hard case.
