(NEW) More electric goodness from the great Huss & Dalton! It took Mark Dalton about 25 years to realize their dream of building a premium electric guitar, and we can say categorically that they've done it... and with a gold top finish (and sound) that rivals the best of them.
This Statesboro Standard came to us by way of Artisan Guitars, when we merged with that business earlier this fall and acquired all of their Huss & Dalton inventory. The warranty has been converted to our store, and we wanted to honor their efforts for ordering and representing this instrument by featuring the video made by their great sales rep, Jesse.
Maple cap with gold top finish, mahogany body and neck. Short 24 3/4" scale length with 1 11/16" nut. The pickups are Fralin Pure P.A.F.s, which have all the detail and tone of the best vintage pickups, but a slightly darker edge to the sound.
Everything about the fit and finish is top notch. The "C" shape neck plays like a dream. It has a rosewood fingerboard with long patter dot inlays, and smooth Gotoh tuners with the H&D logo engraved. Weighs in at 8 lbs 11 oz and includes tweed style hard case.
