(NEW) We've been enjoying the evolution of the Huss & Dalton electric guitar adventure, and we really like their new original shape, with design elements that were highly fretted over (get it?) and a look that combines traditional and modern elements in a player-friendly, elegant way.
The Meridian DC is the first double-cut design from the H&D shop, and we're glad to see that the weight is well under control (7 lbs 14 oz on this one) and Mark Dalton is still coming up with his distinctive burst colors to complement otherwise classic appointments. The real star here is the custom designed Fralin humbucking pickups, which offer a high output experience that needs to be heard. We've got a traditional burst on this one, bound mahogany neck with full "C" profile, ivoroid binding and H&D "Pennon" inlays on the fingerboard. The scale is short 24 3/4" with 1 11/16" nut width and 2 1/16" string spacing at the saddle. Gotoh tuners. Includes tweed style hard case.
