(NEW) Say hello to your new professional-grade, stage-ready dreadnought! This D-RH is the company's square-shouldered powerhouse, developed with a few tweaks under the hood for optimum tone and performance. For starters, every H&D guitar has forward-shifted Adirondack spruce bracing. Their D-RH has a tighter top and back radius than a traditional rosewood dread, and this "built under tension" design results in a more stable top and more volume. You may also notice the slightly larger sound hole on a D-RH, balancing the low end response.
This particular guitar has one of our favorite tone wood combos for the model, torrefied (thermo-cured) Sitka spruce paired with Indian rosewood. We think that the baked Sitka has more note definition than standard Sitka, and complements the lush quality of the Indian rosewood.
1 23/32" nut, 2 7/64" string spacing at the saddle. Mahogany neck with modified "V" profile. Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Maple binding with herringbone top purfling. Waverly tuners. Includes original tweed-style hard case.
For the working musician, we've had H&D add a K&K Pure Mini pickup. Ready to plug and play!
