(NEW) Another absolutely brilliant dreadnought from H&D!  Our friends in Staunton, VA seem to strike the perfect balance of traditional warmth and presence combined with modern playability and clarity of tone.  Particularly with the dreadnoughts, most of the Huss & Dalton guitars we sell find a happy home and they stay there.  

The D-RH is their twist on the classic square-shouldered dread, and it features a few design updates that set it apart from its forebears.  The top and back have a tighter radius and the sound hole is enlarged slightly, so H&D dreads are big on projection.  The thermo-cured Sitka top sounds completely played in from the get-go, no "opening up" necessary.  The more dry, responsive TC Sitka is also a great compliment for Indian rosewood, bringing an uncanny clarity to every sonic register.  Eyebrows shall be raised when you hit that first big G chord!  

1 23/32" nut with 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Long scale with modified "V" neck profile and satin finish on the neck only.  This guitar was built with the TD-M headstock shape (custom) and fitted with Waverly 1129 Special Issue Vintage Oval tuners.  Includes original tweed-style hard case.
