Though it may never reach the level of popularity that mahogany and rosewood enjoy, koa has a sound all its own, not to mention a mesmerizing natural beauty that is hard to argue with.  Whenever we get a "wood drop" email from Huss & Dalton, we carefully scan for inspiring sets, raw tone wood that appeals to us on a personal level, and then we excitedly put together specs to wow and amaze.  

This D-RH is absolutely lovely.  It has a clean, welcoming tone that stands toe-to-toe with any bespoke dreadnought out there.  Our "go to" Thermo-cured (torrefied) Sitka gives it a played-in sound and quick responsiveness.  The beautiful koa speaks for itself!  We wanted to dress her up a bit with Indian rosewood binding all over and a distinctive koa peghead veneer.  

Other specs include ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins, mahogany neck with satin finish and a mod "V" profile, 1 23/32" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle and gold Gotoh 510 tuners (the smoothest!) 

Includes tweed-style TKL hard case.
