(NEW) We're a very steel string-centric show here at AMW, but we certainly see the utility of crossover models, and Furch has a winner with their Grand Nylon. Versus a standard nylon/classical guitar, the GNc2 model offers features that steel string players are used to, like a cutaway for upper fret access, a 1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle, long 25 1/2" scale and a radius'd ebony fingerboard. This particular guitar has a Sitka spruce top, lightly figured walnut back and sides (similar fundamental sound to mahogany, perhaps with a bit more sustain) and a mahogany neck. It has tortoise body binding and an open pore satin finish. Electronics are LR Baggs EAS-VTC Nylon. Includes Furch padded gig bag.
