(NEW) These Furch crossover guitars combine attributes of both steel string and classical guitars. From the steel string world, they bring a radius'd fingerboard, shallower body depth and tighter waist than the average classical, plus a cutaway for upper fret access. From the classical side, they share nylon strings, slotted peghead and a 12-fret body joint. The nut width splits the difference at 1 13/16", with the saddle spacing running 2 3/16".
Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck. Appointments include tortoise body binding, abalone rosette and nickel tuners with amber knobs. The scale length is 25 5/8" (long) and the fingerboard and bridge are ebony.
This guitar has the new CNR system for making action adjustments to the neck angle via the sound hole, they couldn't make it any easier! This guitar has the LR Baggs EAS pickup system, installed at the factory.
We are enjoying the consistency and forward thinking of the Furch company, and a guitar like this might be exactly what you've been looking for! Includes Hiscox hard case.
