Furch 45th Anniversary Gc-EM a ANT, Violet Series, Engelmann, Mahogany - NEW

(NEW) A new offering from Furch, this 45th Anniversary Grand Auditorium model is a mixture of impressively chosen tonewoods, ergonomic features and confident, impressive tone.  It has a creamy looking, tight-grained Engelmann spruce top and some very pretty mahogany on the back and sides, almost in a maidenhair figuring.  Must cuts of mahogany just don't look this nice under satin open-pore finish.

The Violet Gc model is a 16" Grand Auditorium or Small Jumbo model, and this one has a cutaway for upper fret access and comfort bevels on the bass bout of the top and at the waist in the back.  The treble side is ported with small vents in lue of a hole cut in the side, to similar effect.  It has black plastic top binding and rosette, ebony fingerboard and bridge, graphite nut and saddle.  The pick guard and peghead both have a multi-F design going.  

1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" spacing at the saddle, long 25 5/8" scale length.  The neck is a comfy, fast low oval.  The tuners are Furch-branded closed gear.  LR Baggs Anthem pickup installed and strap button installed at the factory.  The new active neck system allows for action adjustments through the sound hole.  Includes padded gig bag.
