(NEW) Why does this keep happening?  We order a guitar from the legendary Dale Fairbanks, it arrives, all of the sudden we're up all night thinking about it.  When we're not thinking, we're dreaming.  Ladies and gentleman, may I introduce you our new President of Jumbos here at AMW....

We've had a soft spot for black-topped slope Ds ever since Peter Walker strolled into our old location with none other than Karon Dalton's ancient Gibby.  Neither the night or the guitar ever left our memory, and if you know us you know that we've been trying to conjure that magic ever since, from a variety of builders.  Dale Fairbanks unknowingly brought the whole thing to a natural conclusion that feels, well, kinda supernatural.  

To be clear, everything we ever wanted or ever will want in a jumbo.  

"But it's not ADI!" 

Nope.  Doesn't need to be, doesn't wanna be (well, the braces are!)  This guitar is exactly what it's supposed to be.  Weighs 3 lbs, 10 oz, which would have put it as the leanest in our massive jumbo video from last year... but again, it wasn't time yet.  That was then, this is now. 

F-35 with Sitka spruce top, mahogany back/sides/neck.  1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle, short 24 3/4" scale.  Easy V neck profile.  Expert light relic job.  Madrose fingerboard and bridge.  Hard case for the road ahead.
