ON HOLD, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT PURCHASE!
(NEW) From the Eastman custom shop in Pomona, CA, we have this distinctive E20D Custom built by their master luthier Otto D'Ambrosio. It has an Adirondack spruce top and some of Eastman's best Indian Rosewood for the back and sides. The most striking feature is the custom silver burst finish, a unique top shading that instantly sets this dread apart from the rest of the pack! The herringbone top purfling ties it to the rosewood dread tradition.
Long scale with 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/32" string spacing at the saddle. Ebony fingerboard with snowflake and diamond inlay pattern, ebony bridge and pins with abalone dots. Eastman classic "C" neck profile. Rear-shifted (1.5” from sound hole to X) hand-scalloped bracing pattern. Traditional (hide glue) dovetail neck joint. Waverly tuners.
This dreadnought has a lovely, musical sound, with a rich low end but also chiming mids and fat trebles... we're very fond of it! This handcrafted dreadnought guitars rivals guitars selling for twice the price, in this very shop! This thing really resonates with us. :-)
Includes fine and highly protective Hiscox brand (UK) flite-case.
