Collings SJ Indian, Baked Sitka Spruce, Indian Rosewood, Cutaway - NEW

(NEW) We've always admired the Collings SJ as a do-it-all guitar.  The big lower bout means that it has ample bass response and volume, but the tight waist helps the tone maintain an uncanny balance.  The shape of the waist also means the guitar sits lower on the leg, so despite being a larger instrument, it is still comfortable to play sitting down.  

We've supercharged this one a bit by asking Collings for baked (torrefied) Sitka for the top.  Rosewood guitars from Collings can skew heavy on occasion, but the east Indian rosewood set picked for this guitar is perfect, and the weight and balance are spot on.  Need access to the highest frets?  Not a problem, cutaway included!

Cosmetically, we've got ivoroid binding on the body, neck and peghead, "modern diamond" inlay scheme on the ebony fretboard and a colorful marquetry back strip.  For specs, it's a 25 1/2" (long) scale guitar with 1 11/16" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle and comfortable "C" profile neck.  Waverly tuners, includes TKL hard case.
