Collings Parlor Deluxe Traditional, Baked Sitka Spruce, Indian Rosewood - NEW

(NEW) This little Parlor from Collings is a lovely, lovely thing.  We love the visuals, from the look of the torrefied Sitka spruce top to the marquetry purfling and rosette, it looks like it was plucked from another time... but of course the fit and finish, tone and feel are all Collings.

All Traditional models are built slightly lighter, with small maple bridge plates, no tongue brace, forward-shifted scalloped Sitka spruce braces and rolled edges on the fingerboard.  This 12-fret parlor has Indian rosewood back and sides, ivoroid binding on the body, neck and peghead, ebony fingerboard with no inlays and engraved 3-on-a-plate tuners with ivoroid buttons.  It has an ebony pyramid bridge with a tall drop-in saddle and ivoroid pins.

Being a parlor size, it is short scale (24 1/2") with a 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Lower bout is 12 1/4" at the widest point, 3 7/8" deep at the tail block.  The sound really jumps, it has a lot of clarity and a very quick response.  It isn't timid like some guitars that run this small.  Includes TKL hard case.
