The Collings parlor was one of the first models in the Traditional series that were designed from the ground up, versus being an interpretation of a shape that was already available in the standard line.  It's a spry little box, just 12 1/4" inches at the widest point of the lower bout.  Being a Traditional, it has forward-shifted scalloped Sitka spruce bracing, no tongue brace, a small maple bridge plate and rolled fingerboard edges.  

It also has the particularly lovely option of a satin finish, which we are enjoying immensely on this guitar!  The koa on the back/sides is tight-flamed, the stuff of dreams.  The Sitka is flawless, typical Collings all the way.  Style 1 appointments include faux-tortoise body binding, 3-ring rosette, faux-tortoise bridge pins and dot inlays on the fingerboard.  This guitar has a 1 3/4" nut with 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle, short 24 7/16" scale length.  Ebony fingerboard and pyramid bridge.  3-on-a-plate gold engraved Waverly tuners with ebony buttons.  Includes TKL hard case.  

So much guitar, such a small footprint!
