(NEW) The OM2H is Collings' top selling flat top, and indeed we find them hard to keep in stock for very long.  A popular variant is the short scale option, which measures 24 7/8" (vs the standard long scale at 25 1/2").  Going short scale put the frets just a bit closer together while also lowering the overall string tension.  This results in a softer playability with a little more "give" and, we believe, also warms up the voice of the instrument a bit.  

Other than the scale length, everything about this OM2H is standard: Sitka spruce top (tight grained and lovely as always) with Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck with modified "V" profile, 1 11/16" nut w/ 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle, ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins, Waverly open back tuners and TKL hard case.
