Collings OM1H SB, Sitka Spruce, Mahogany, Sunburst - NEW

(NEW) This is a slightly unusual one for us, as we normally reserve appearances of herringbone for rosewood guitars (as is tradition)... but this instrument was inspired by a few customers who have called over the years to say "The best one I ever had was an OM1H... I wish I hadn't let that one go!" So, for anyone who had one get away, this is for you!  It happens to be a pretty outstanding guitar in its own right, too!

This lightweight OM has a Sitka spruce top with beautiful sunburst finish and herringbone top trim with tortoise body binding.  Back and sides are mahogany, as is the neck.  This one has the standard 1 11/16" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle and standard long 25 1/2" scale length.  The neck has Collings' standard modified "V" shape, with ebony fingerboard and dot inlays.  Ebony bridge w/ ebony pins.  The tuners are nickel Waverly.

This instrument has an authoritative tone and quick response.  Right up there with the best Collings OMs in our shop!  Includes original hard case.
