(NEW) The phenomenon that is Julian Lage is something that will be very familiar to fans of this website.  His acoustic and electric collaborations with Collings have been absolute smash hits, best sellers for the brand in both categories for several years now.  Here we have another fine, fine Orchestra Model spec'd the Julian's satisfaction.  

Adirondack spruce top and mahogany back/sides/neck, the OM1AJL is built essentially on Collings' Traditional platform.  The Traditional guitars have a lighter overall build style, forward-shifted scalloped Sitka braces, no tongue brace, a small maple bridge plate, relic'd Waverly tuners and a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish.  The JL has its own unique mod V neck carve, and this one has 1 3/4" nut with, 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle and a long 25 1/2" scale length.  Also unique to this model is the standard satin finish and the "old school" Collings logo on the peghead.

Of all the Traditional models, the OM1AJL gives us the most "vintage" sort of experience.  It's dry, responsive and loud!  Includes hardshell case.
