(NEW) Now THAT is a proper sunburst!  Just in from our friends at Collings, the OM1 JL (that's Julian Lage, or "Just Lucky" if you ask him!)

This model has been immensely popular.  As an extension of the Traditional line, it has a light build and elegant Traditional appointments.  What sets this model apart from everything else Collings offers is the special "Julian Neck", a new carve based on one of his favorite vintage Martins, with 1 11/16" nut width and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  It is also the only Collings available with the super-thin satin nitro finish found on Waterloo guitars.  Not only very pleasing to look at, this finish also insures the quickest response from an already responsive instrument.  

The OM1 JL guitars always present with a woody dryness that reminds us of a good mahogany guitar from the 40s.  The Sitka spruce top gives it a layer of warmth, no reason this couldn't be someones only guitar.  

Other specs include 25 1/2" scale length, ebony fingerboard, bridge, peghead overlay and pins, and unique "old school" Collings logo (also exclusive to this model)
