This MF5 is not only beautiful, but is also optimized for tone with a premium Adirondack spruce top, flame maple back and sides, and the all-important VARNISH finish, which is thinner and softer, letting the top resonate more easily.  It makes a massive difference, particularly on a new instrument, and results in a warmer and more responsive mandolin... it also looks incredible, adding an amber glow and setting off the dark sunburst.  

The torch and wire inlay on the peghead is superb, hopefully you'll be able to stop staring long enough to play!  Other features on this instrument include fully ivoroid bound body, neck, peghead and pick guard.  Waverly tuners with Collings tail piece.  Standard 1 1/8" nut width.  Includes TKL hard case, with upgraded cases available.
