(NEW) There's nothing not to like about Collings mandolins.  They have piano-like, even response all over the fingerboard, and the materials selection and fit/finish are legendary.  This MF is the base model, with Adirondack spruce top, lovely flamed maple back and sides and a silky-smooth satin finish.  

We ordered this instrument with the wide nut (1 3/16") option, which many guitar players who double on mandolin find very comfortable.  

All other features are standard to MF, including ebony fingerboard, bridge and headplate.  Includes original TKL hard case.
