(NEW) Collings mandolins never fail to impress.  Their even response up and down the fingerboard, their piano-like trebles, and their impeccable fit and finish have secured their place in mandolin history.  For those looking for a slightly warmer, rounder tone (vs an F-hole instrument) the x-braced oval-hole instruments are among the best available. 

The MF-O has an Adirondack spruce top, flamed maple back and sides (with a compelling wide-grained section toward the bottom of the back) and a wide 1 3/16" nut by default.  This one has a slightly amber-tilting tobacco sunburst, with smooth satin lacquer all over.  Compound 7"-11 5/8" radius ebony fingerboard, adjustable ebony bridge with 1 9/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Nickel tuners and tailpiece.  Includes original TKL hard case.
