Collings I-35LC Vintage w/ Aged Black Finish, ThroBak Humbuckers - NEW

(NEW) A perennial favorite, the semi-hollow I-35LC is just a superb electric offering from Collings.  Talk about a modern classic.  Or a classic, modernized?  

As we've said before, we love an aged finish on a Collings electric, because it makes perfection accessible, there is no anxiety about that first ding!  Not to mention the added resonance that results from breaking the surface tension on the lacquer finish... one of the reasons that vintage guitars sound so compelling.  The aging is a very subtle lacquer checking (no relic work or artificial wear n' tear) and some light tarnish on the hardware.  The neck shaft does not have lacquer checking.  

This one has ThroBak ESG-102B humbuckers and the Aged Black option, otherwise all of the normal specs of an I-35LC: laminated maple construction with mahogany neck, slim '60s profile, 1 11/16" nut width and short 24 7/8" scale length.  It has aged Kluson bridge and tailpiece, aged Gotoh tuners.  Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays.  Includes original Ameritage hard case.
