(NEW) A perennial favorite, the semi-hollow I-35LC is just a superb electric offering from Collings.  It comes in a lot of flavors, and this one is more rare in that it has single coil P90 pickups from the shop of Jason Lollar.  Don't get it wrong, though, these single coils sound anything but thin... they have a lot of body but still bite and chime for days.

As we've said before, we love an aged finish on a Collings electric, because it makes perfection accessible, there is no anxiety about that first ding!  Not to mention the added resonance that results from breaking the surface tension on the lacquer finish... one of the reasons that vintage guitars sound so compelling.  The aging is a very subtle lacquer checking (no relic work or artificial wear n' tear) and some light tarnish on the hardware.  The neck shaft does not have lacquer checking.  

Other than the Lollar P90s and the aged black option, this guitar has all of the normal specs of an I-35LC: laminated maple construction with mahogany neck ('59 "C" neck profile) 1 11/16" nut width and short 24 7/8" scale length.  It has aged Kluson bridge and tailpiece, aged Gotoh tuners.  Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays.  Includes original Ameritage hard case.
