Collings DS2HA, Adirondack Spruce, Indian Rosewood, 1 3/4" Nut - NEW

(NEW) All hail, the return of the mighty DS!  Based on the original 12-fret dreadnought design, the DS is about the most powerful, bass-forward guitar in the Collings lineup.  Because it's a Collings, it has a lot more to offer than just big bass!  The articulate midrange and treble both perform impeccably, and the overall tone is huge, yet balanced.  Indeed, it's more guitar than most players need... and in some cases more than they can handle!

This instrument has the chest-rumbling combination of Adirondack spruce and Indian rosewood, with some nice custom tweaks like solid peghead (normally spec'd as slotted) and a 1 3/4" nut, vs the wider (but traditional) 1 13/16" that comes standard.  The neck is Collings' standard mod "V" shape, single piece mahogany with dark stain.  Long 25 1/2" scale.  All other appointments are standard "2" style, including three-ring rosette, herringbone top trim, ivoroid body binding and zipper back strip.  Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins, very cool striped ebony peghead overlay.  Waverly open-back tuners and TKL hard case complete the package.

One of the most gutsy country, singer/songwriter or flat picking guitars out there!  The DS2HA has it going on.
