(NEW) Thing of beauty right here!  This Collings D2HT has all the latest and greatest.  The Traditional build style means a lighter overall build, with forward-shifted, scalloped braces, small maple bridge plate and no tongue brace.  Combined with the animal protein glue construction, these Traditional specs result in a warmer, richer sounding instrument... all without sacrificing Collings' legendary clarity and power.  

This instrument has the nuanced and organic looking dark sunburst finish over a tight-grained Sitka spruce top, with a herringbone top border.  The back and sides are straight-grained Indian rosewood.  We had Collings spray their thin satin nitrocellulose finish for maximum breathability and response.  Unlike the Waterloo guitars that bear a similar finish, the Traditionals have pore filler applied, and the satin finish is perfectly smooth.  

This guitar has a 1 3/4" nut on the Traditional Carve modified V neck.  String spacing at the saddle is 2 5/16".  Full 25.5" scale.  Drop-in saddle.  The ebony fingerboard and bridge have a subtle and pleasing figure to them.  As on all T-models, the fingerboard edges are rolled for comfort.  Relic'd Waverly open back tuners and a TKL hard case complete the package.
