(NEW) Many will agree that the Traditional series took the (already awesome) Collings flat-tops to the next level.  By adding a bit of neck mass, smaller bridge plate and a thinner finish, Collings was able to warm up the voicing of their guitars, particularly in the midrange and low registers.  The resulting tone is very satisfying and don't worry, no power has been sacrificed!

This D2HT is about as nice a dreadnought as you could want.  It has a torrefied/baked Sitka spruce top, stellar looking Indian rosewood back and sides, and has a 1 11/16" nut and 2 3/16" saddle spacing on the Traditional mod "V" neck profile.  Long 25 1/2" scale, of course, with ebony fingerboard and bridge and a vintage-style cut-through saddle.  Collings Traditional herringbone top trim with 3-ring rosette, zipper back strip and ivoroid body binding.  

Modern but with a few vintage twists, the Traditional line is here to stay!  Includes TKL hard case.
