Collings D2HA Custom, Adirondack Spruce, Ziricote - NEW

(NEW) Another day, another wonderful custom Collings!  This dreadnought features a tonewood that we have just barely begun exploring with Collings, the lovely sounding and mesmerizing looking Ziricote has the cut and clarity you'd expect from the boys in Austin, but isn't overly strident at all.  To hear this new-to-us tonewood at its best, we wanted to pair it with something very familiar, tried and true Adirondack spruce.  As you'll hear in the video, these woods compliment each other quite well!

1 3/4" nut width, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle, long 25 1/2" scale length.  Standard 2-Style appointments include ivoroid binding (we added ivoroid neck and peghead binding for this one) and the mahogany neck is the standard modified V shape.  Ebony fingerboard with compound radius.  Ebony bridge and pins, nickel Waverly tuners.  This thing looks classic and exotic at the same time!

Includes original hard case, of course.
