Collings D2H, Sitka Spruce, Indian Rosewood, 1 3/4" Nut - NEW

(NEW) It's the one that started it all, Collings' legendary take on the venerable rosewood dreadnought.  The D2H dominated Collings production for years, bringing this classic shape into the modern era with unmatched power and articulation.  It's always fun when someone plays a Collings dread for the first, it's like the clouds parting and the sun beaming through!

This one has a Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back/sides and a mahogany neck with Collings original modified V profile.  Long 25 1/2" scale length with 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Style 2 appointments include herringbone top trim, 3-ring rosette, zipper back strip, diamond and square inlays on an ebony fingerboard, ivoroid body binding and diamond volute on the back of the peghead.  The tuners are nickel Waverly machines and the guitar includes hard case.
