(NEW) You know by now, we are mad for Collings guitars, and their D2H has set a new standard for the American flat-top guitar.  This guitar is the gateway to the Collings universe, and thousands of players, pros and enthusiasts have started their next-level guitar journey on the D2H.  

This example has mostly stock features, though the top has been upgraded to torrefied (baked) Sitka spruce.  The baked wood is not only awesome looking (cooked tops rarely come this tightly grained and even in color...) but they give the guitar a quicker response and a more played-in tone.  This guitar has Indian rosewood back and sides, a 1 11/16" nut with 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle, is the standard long 25 1/2" scale and has "2-style" appointments including ivoroid body binding, herringbone top trim and zipper back strip.  Standard modified V neck profile.  Waverly tuners.  Includes TKL hard case.
