Collings D2G, German Spruce, Indian Rosewood, No Tongue Brace - NEW - SOLD

(NEW) You know what this is!  Something of an AMW signature offering, we absolutely adore German o'er Indian rosewood on a Collings.  Tonally, it's the "secret sauce" combo for getting excellent headroom, tonal complexity... basically the fast track to dreadnought heaven!  That's the reason that this model has always been available at our shop.

We usually have these built with understated, stealthy appointments.  Tortoise body binding *almost* blends in to the EIR sides, and of course it's "hold the 'bone" so that we can enjoy the visual woody goodness of German spruce.  No tongue brace loosens up the upper bout (just enough) to add a bit of pre-war personality to the tone.  

This guitar has a 1 11/16" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle, and a bunch of familiar "Style 2" features like 3-ring rosette, zipper back strip, diamond/square fingerboard inlays and Waverly tuners.

There's no other way to say it.  Next-level dreadnought.  So good!
