Collings D1AT, Traditional Model, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany - NEW - SOLD

SOLD

(NEW) You've probably noticed how much we love these...  Bill Collings loved Brazilian rosewood (who doesn't?) but he once told us that he thought his mahogany dreadnought was the best thing the company made.  Seeing and hearing this D1A Traditional, we tend to agree!

This especially handsome example features all of the "hot rod" features found in the Traditional lineup: forward shifted, scalloped bracing, animal protein glue construction, tiny maple bridge plate, a redesigned neck profile and a thinner nitro finish.  We love the bold red growth lines that decorate the top, they look just fantastic against the bright white color of the wood.  It sounds HUGE.
