Collings D1AT Traditional, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany, Satin Finish - SOLD

SOLD

(NEW) Big, crystal-clear dreadnought tone has a name: D1AT.  The Traditional iteration of Collings' flagship mahogany guitar, offering a warmer, more played-in tone right out of the box.  We believe that the Traditional guitars are some of the most inviting guitars Collings has ever made.  The lighter build, the more vintage-inspired sound and appointments... takes the Collings vibe to another level.

This D1AT has a delightfully wide-grained Adirondack spruce top, with excellent color and hints of bearclaw around the center seam.  Absolutely smile-inducing to behold!  Honduran mahogany back, sides and neck, with Collings' refined Traditional modified V neck profile, 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/16" string spacing at the cut-through saddle.  This one has a dark ebony fingerboard with compound radius, rolled edges, and dot inlays.  The cosmetics include Traditional-style 3-ring rosette and simple b/w/b purfling scheme w/ tortoise binding.  Tortoise Stew Mac bridge pins.  Very lovely peghead overlay with pearl logo (vintage toner added... looks great!) and relic'd Waverly tuners.  This guitar has Collings' smooth and silky satin nitrocellulose finish.  Includes TKL hard case.
