Collings D1 Custom, Black Top, Sitka, Mahogany, Doghair - NEW

(NEW) Never accuse us of not being bold with our offering of Collings dreadnoughts!  We're real suckers for the Doghair look here at AMW, and it's never cooler than when it's used on a Collings.  This D1 has a Sitka spruce top, painted black and mahogany back/sides with Doghair finish (black stain applied over white pore filler.)  It's light on its feet at 4lbs 4oz, and has the legendary Collings projection and articulation.

1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle, 25 1/2" long scale length.  The neck is Collings' standard mod V profile, .855" at the first fret and .95" at the 9th.  To contrast the black we went with ivoroid body binding on this one, and tuners are nickel Waverly.  Pick guard on the side, can be installed when purchased or left for later.  

A dread that makes a statement!  Includes hard case.
