Collings 620 Semi-Hollow, Flamed Maple, Solid Mahogany - NEW

(NEW) Collings has shaken things up in recent years, and is currently consolidating their semi-hollow and archtop offerings.  The double-cut I-35 and its variants are still alive and well, but models like the Statesman and Eastside are either discontinued or not long for this world.  They are putting a lot of energy into their 620 platform, a medium-sized, semi-hollow, single cut that checks a heck of a lot of boxes (and looks pretty awesome in the process!)

Just arrived, a fully-solid 620 with flamed maple top, solid mahogany back and sides with a subtle ribbon figuring, and a mahogany neck with Collings' familiar C shape.  1 11/16" nut, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays.  The pickups on this one are Lollar Low Wind Imperials, trusted for years as Collings' go two humbucker.  The radio knobs and tortoise binding bring the look together with subtle elegance.  

Since you read this far, you probably deserve to know the weight: 7 lbs, 5oz.  Includes hard case!
