(NEW) Collings' solid body 290 has a familiar silhouette, but as usual they've upgraded tradition with their impeccable materials selection and craftsmanship.  The 290 is about as pure as the electric guitar experience can be, just strap it on and crank it up!  

Solid mahogany body with single cutaway, Lollar P90 pickups, original C-shape neck.  1 11/16" nut width, short 24.9" scale length.  Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays.  Opaque olive drab finish.

No more fancy descriptors needed here, folks.  Guitar weighs 7lbs 15oz and includes hard case.
